About us



Wicker Wonder Weavers is founded on years of performance excellence.

Initially established as Cane Flora in 1990, we are the trusted manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of standard and customised hand-woven synthetic baskets and goods, in South Africa and beyond.

The baskets are utilised extensively in the floral industry, for catering and gift hampers, display and storage purposes and homeware. Baskets are made-to-order, according to standard templates, but can be customized for size and colour as a one-of-a-kind, unique item.

The manufacturing process comprises Polypropylene extrusion to yield synthetic wicker (cane), which is meticulously hand-woven by local crafters. Unlike natural cane, the synthetic wicker is inexpensive, virtually indestructible and does not deteriorate over time, lasting for years to come. We predominantly use recycled Polypropylene and our waste is minimized by optimal reuse of resources and raw materials - our environmental contribution!
